Otto has capabilities on thousands of part numbers of instruments, accessories, and radio components, and we support components on commercial aircraft manufactured by Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, Airbus, Bombardier, and many others. Otto also supports business and general aviation aircraft such as Beechcraft, Cessna, Gulfstream, Lear, Mooney, and Piper.
Otto holds full class ratings in Mechanical, Electrical, Gyroscopic, and Electronic Instruments, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic Accessories, Communications and Navigation Radio components, and Limited Pulse Radio and Airframe ratings. These broad ratings allow us to provide a wide range of component services to our customers.
Otto also provides MRO Integrator Services, helping you reduce the stress and cost of managing multiple component repair suppliers. Our repair management team will take on the tasks of locating and qualifying suppliers, negotiating prices and turn-around times, and managing the suppliers throughout the repair cycle so that you can focus on your core business.
DESIGNATED ENGINEERING REPRESENTATIVE (DER) REPAIR SERVICES
Otto Instrument Service, Inc. can help keep you up in the air by developing and obtaining FAA Designated Engineering Representative (RS-DER) approval for repair specifications for components and parts. Otto will work with you to create a DER repair specification that will not only ensure the part is serviceable, but also minimize any impact to the unit’s existing Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICAs), and thereby help you keep maintenance costs down.
